Technology is a space we choose to engage in for entertainment, management, utility and fun. It should be used for mental and emotional good, as well. Have you heard of me? I'm Maslo. I like to ask questions and listen. Have you tried?

Instead of gloom or stress of an adult, a wise young girl wonders how the future will feel. She wonders how the smiles will be and who she will meet. She wonders what will happen. It is easy to lose curiosity in our lives as we grow older. Our Flow #mindfulmark reminds us of this, “I embrace what the world offers me. Remember, embracing without any prejudgements will keep you in the moment and being present. #wellnessatx
We all have so many parts of ourselves — parts we like and parts we don’t like. What would it be like to treat all those parts with kindness? To care for them all to feel safe? To recognize that we all contain multitudes and allow this to be true?
Drop by drop. Experience by experience. Fall or fly. We are always growing our wisdom when we are awake to the lessons and growth available to us within each and every moment.
Being willing to not always know the answers, the destination or the outcomes, gives us the opportunity to flex our muscle of trust, both in ourself and in life itself.
The holidays can feel intense sometimes... here's a simple self-care tip to shift your energy when you're feeling overwhelmed - ⠀
When you're looking for some extra love, close your eyes and place your hands on your heart. Take 10 deep breathes and simply focus on your breathing. In and Out. In and Out. With each breath relax a bit more than you did the last breath. Think about bringing joy and happiness into your life. Picture what that looks like and feel that energy. Be the energy you want to attract. Slowly start to focus on your breathing again. Smile and open your eyes 💖⠀
Happy Hump Day, Crystal Lovers! Today we remember our ‘flaws’ aren’t really flaws at all. They’re part of what make us different from everyone else, what makes us us, each genetically imperfectly perfect in our own ways. Our appearances don’t define us, and they shouldn’t limit us or impact the way we live our lives as free spirits. True beauty comes from within ❤️
Hi y’all! Gloria here! On this #TransformationTuesday, I‘m celebrating a really personal & significant one-year anniversary. One year ago today, I woke up thinking I had hit rock bottom. It’s overwhelming to reflect on how much has changed & how much I’ve learned since then. I (somewhat scaredly) wrote a reflective blog post (link in bio) on my last year of struggle, mindfulness, & transformation. For both those who do and do not know me -- this is the real, raw backstory of how I went from a decade in the corporate world, to finding science-based mindfulness, to opening Recalibrate. It includes feelings & details I’ve been scared to share -- but especially today, reflecting on how crucial it was for me to embrace difficulty in order to find freedom & fulfillment — I also feel hopeful that this will help encourage any of you who are struggling, have struggled, or will struggle to keep on keepin’ on with the hard work of embracing difficulty to find new growth. Your brain, body, & heart will thank you in the long run. Link in bio. Xoxo.
PS - gratitude shout out to those tagged for the friendship & support that helped make so much of this year brighter even in the dark moments. Love y’all, mean it.
One thing I’ve learned these past 3 years of being a business owner, trying new things, and living life on my own terms....people have their opinions. Even the people who love you the most, have the best intentions....sometimes they aren’t the ones to listen to. If your heart is 100% telling you to go one way, do it. Taking that leap is scary, I know. But I promise you, coming out on the other side being able to stand strong and have faith in yourself and your intuition is so much better than having regrets about the things you didn’t do. ✨
This quote though.🙌
Those of you who know me well know I LOVE to celebrate things. Friend reaches a small milestone? Card in the post. Birthday? All out flags, cake, balloons, the lot. Survived a day as a thesis student and only cried once? Crack out the champers, my friend. 🍾
Ok so the last one is a joke (you hold the leash on your own stress levels innit) but I did however reach a massive milestone today! Yup, ya gal @feedmereal_ over here only went and handed in her flippin' results. Holy crackers and vegan cheese let me tell you, this is a day I NEVER thought would come. Obviously this achievement was lavishly celebrated with @zoeverd, beer and TWO packets of crisps at our student union. #wild
So what I'm trying to say is, in the most elaborate manner because that's how I roll: CELEBRATE EVERYTHING. 🌟🎉💕 We underestimate so many things during our short time on this planet so whack out the flags more often, pat yourself on the back for the smallest to the biggest of achievements and whilst you're at it don't forget to smile. Today your small victory might be simply remembering to breath and tomorrow it might be handing in the results of your thesis, your biggest academic achievement to date, bringing you one step closer to freedom. Whatever the achievement, take a moment to appreciate it. You won't regret it (srsly, worst case scenario you've got some champers to finish and some flags to put away). 👌
you reach for that dream that seems unattainable.
Think about that dream you have, that thing you want to do. Then ask yourself why you’re not doing it. After you have your list of reasons why you aren’t doing it, draw a line and on the other side write what YOU are going to do to make it happen. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It starts with YOU. Own that, cherish that and frickin’ run with it! You got this shiz. 👌 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Learning to look within when we have been programmed to look outside of ourselves for answers is a massive paradigm shift. It takes practice, perseverance and a lot of energy.
Therein lies the path to peace.
