Finally , a garage night... Finished fabbing up a scratch dash/ hood frame , started glassing the widened dash back together, swapped out the driver side rear disc for an emergency brake version, and pulled my first ever engine. <--- I wasnt expecting that last part to be as easy as it was!
It's a long way to the top if you want to rock and roll. Who says everything posted on Instagram is glorified or positive? I know I positively have a long road of fresh wiring, old sound deadening removal, a bad floor patch to weld properly, some harness bar action, some trunk tub rust to get at with the metal, all while prepping the entire original interior for full restoration and repair where needed. That's before we even get out of the inside of the car on to all the suspension stuff or oily bits.... 🤐
Myself and the dog aren’t sure it gets better than this... #GarageNight
It’s F R I D A Y ! On sort le coton ouaté et la casquette🧢👌🏻 Comme dans le garage à @billlacombe24 ! C’est dans ces temps là qu’on voit que le bonheur est dans les choses simples 🙌🏻 /Happiness is in simple things 🌾🍻
Redesigning the tool wall.
It’s nice to keep a selection of the most used tools handy.
Just need to hang a 10 mm wrench and the heat gun!
As much fun designing the space as fixing bikes or just admiring the toys. :-) CBC Radio One playing in the background. #cbcradio1#stromboshow#garagenight
